Our final session before the summer break and hugely enjoyed. Scratchers built a great retro classic Pong Breakout with lots of creative variations on display! There was plenty going on with Raspberry Pis including Frozen Minecraft, LEDs, buzzers and motion sensing. A Sphero zoomed round the floor keeping everyone on their toes. Meanwhile the Python coders stretched their skills with more puzzles and some cool functions. In the break we had an inspiring talk by special guest Hope Caton, lecturer in game design at Kingston University, who told the story of her journey from Hollywood set designer and script writing The X-Files to writing the bestselling video game Tomb Raider IV.
